Enjoy A Mauritius Adventure In Paradise

Mauritius has long been associated with holidays for the rich and famous or for honeymooners prepared to spend a small fortune on their first holiday together as a married couple. However, Mauritius is so much more than that now. More and more people are discovering the delights of this stunning Indian Ocean destination and are realising that they do not have to have a huge bank balance to afford it either. All Inclusive Holidays

For those who want to experience all that Mauritius has to offer, luxury all-inclusive package holidays are available. These fantastic packages include flights and accommodation as well as food and drink while you are away. This means that you could, in theory, pay for your holiday upfront and not even have to worry about taking any spending money with you.

Nevertheless, if you want to explore the real Mauritius, then you will not want to spend every waking minute at your resort. No matter how luxurious it is, many things are happening outside your resort that you do not wish to miss.

Things to Do in Mauritius

• Hiking at Tamarind Falls – The Tamarind Falls are breathtaking and something that you should definitely see during your time in Mauritius. This part of the country offers some of the most spectacular views of waterfalls, mountains and forests and is the perfect place for a hike and a picnic. This unspoilt area of Mauritius has lush vegetation, deep pools and eleven waterfalls, making it a real paradise on earth. There is plenty of wildlife to see here and you can enjoy a beautiful swim in one of the many pools.

• Enjoy a catamaran cruise around the islands – One of the most relaxing ways to enjoy Mauritius and see the various islands is on board a catamaran. These beautiful boats are the ideal way to see this truly stunning part of the world; if you are lucky, you may even spot a dolphin or two in the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Catamaran cruises are available to suit any budget and you can even enjoy a romantic sunset cruise that you will never forget.

• Visit a nature reserve – Mauritius has many excellent parks and nature reserves where you can get up close and personal with a host of exotic wildlife creatures such as the giant tortoise. The Mauritius National Botanical Garden is home to some fantastic tropical plants, some of which can only be found in Mauritius.

• Check out life underwater – With so much to see underwater in this part of the world, it will come as no surprise that underwater activities are hugely popular. Snorkelling and scuba diving are probably two of the most popular activities here, but many visitors prefer to see what life is like below the surface by enjoying an underwater sea walk!
