Mauritius Resort Opens After Extensive Remodel

Le Touessrok Resort & Spa in Mauritius has been reopened after an extensive remodel. The grand opening was attended by more than two hundred guests, including the island nation’s prime minister, The Right Honourable Sir Anerood Jugnauth, GCSK, KCMG, QC. The spectacular event saw guests entertained by over thirty artists who narrated the story of Le Touessrok with a mixture of performing arts, a light show, music, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Paradise on Earth

Le Touessrok Resort & Spa is located in one of Mauritius’s most beautiful bays, and the remodelling of the resort will delight guests with the complex’s 200 rooms and suites all offering infinity views of the idyllic Indian Ocean. Five restaurants and three bars provide mouth-watering cuisine, and a new spa offers a host of wellness and beauty treatments in eight private rooms.

As well as the chance to enjoy fine dining and relaxing spa treatments, guests can enjoy chilling out by two swimming pools or enjoying a round of golf on the resort’s 18-hole championship course. There is also access to the private island of Ilot Mangenie. The resort welcomes guests of all ages and a fabulous kids’ club will ensure younger guests are entertained while parents enjoy all that Le Touessrok has to offer.

Fabulous Mauritius

Le Touessrok Resort & Spa is just one of the many spectacular resorts on the stunning island nation of Mauritius. Holidays to Mauritius have long been seen as a luxurious option for honeymooning couples, but these days, more and more people are realising how welcoming this part of the world is for all types of holidaymakers.

Mauritius is an ideal destination because of its year-round warm weather and spectacular scenery. With most resorts catering to children as well, Mauritius is fast becoming a popular choice for family holidays. Many hotels have their own kids’ clubs and play areas for children as well as special children’s meal times and kid-friendly food choices to ensure that everyone has a great time.

With spectacular white beaches and crystal clear waters, it is no surprise that Mauritius is a firm favourite with British holidaymakers looking to escape the unpredictable weather of the UK.

Booking a Winter Break

Those who can afford to take a holiday during the winter will love Mauritius. Jetting off to the Indian Ocean to stay in a five-star resort such as Le Touessrok Resort & Spa will allow you to enjoy sumptuous surroundings while being pampered and treated like royalty.

Mauritius temperatures in the winter rarely drop below 28oC, so it really is the perfect location to chill out and relax by the pool or on the beautiful beaches.
