Large Number Of Airlines Attending 2012 Routes Africa Forum

The Routes Africa event which will be held this year in the Seychelles seems to be attracting more and more big names in the tourism industry. Ms. Marlen Mendes Manave the CEO of LAM (Linhas Aereas de Mozambique) confirmed she will attend the July 2012 event and this makes LAM the 25th carrier so far to register for the event. They are joining other high profile airline executives such as the CEO of Air Seychelles and the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines. Other airlines that will be represented at the 2012 Routes Africa event from July 8th to July 10th include Mango, Qatar Airways, Iberia, Air Mauritius, Kenya Airways, Vueling, Comair and Etihad. The 2012 event is the seventh Routes Africa event and is set to be the biggest one so far. A big name that recently announced it will attend is United Airlines. This is the first time the airline has attended the event and is actually the first time that an airline from North America has attended an African networking forum.

With more airlines than ever registered to attend the Routes Africa forum this year, the tourism industry in the region should start to see more and more interest from farther afield.
